High-Temperature Stability: Rock wool fibers have a melting point exceeding 1000℃, forming an effective fire barrier in the event of a fire. Experimental data shows that a 10cm thick rock wool board can block flame penetration for over 4 hours in standard fire resistance tests, far exceeding ordinary insulation materials.
Dual Protection: Thermal Insulation and Flame Retardant: Rock wool has a thermal conductivity of only about 0.040W/(m·K). In high-temperature environments, it not only blocks flames but also significantly slows heat transfer. In a high-rise building fire case, the rock wool insulation layer successfully prevented the fire from spreading to the upper and lower floors, buying valuable time for evacuation.
Environmentally Friendly and Safe: No toxic gases are released during combustion, and the smoke density level reaches AQ1 (safety level), meeting the stringent requirements for materials in densely populated areas stipulated in the "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings" (GB50016-2014).
