Rock wool boards are an ideal material for thin-plaster exterior wall insulation systems, suitable for new construction or energy-saving renovations of existing buildings with dense structures such as concrete or brick walls. 2. Fire-resistant Firebreaks
As an A1-class non-combustible material, rock wool boards can be used in conjunction with insulation materials whose fire performance does not reach A-class (such as polystyrene boards). They can be installed around door and window openings on building exteriors or in horizontal firebreaks to prevent the vertical spread of flames during a fire, significantly improving the overall fire safety of the building.
3. Roofing and Roof Insulation
Rock wool boards are used as roof insulation layers in buildings, effectively insulating and slowing heat conduction, improving indoor comfort. Rock wool boards can be used in interior partitions, ceilings, and elevator shafts, utilizing their efficient sound absorption and vibration damping properties to improve the building's acoustic environment. They are particularly suitable for public buildings with high noise control requirements, such as hospitals, schools, and office buildings.
