Mineral Wool Acoustic Board is an acoustic building panel with a rock-wool core. The mineral-fiber layer is formed as a board or panel for use in walls, partitions, ceilings, and equipment enclosures.
It is used in studios, meeting rooms, plant rooms, machinery enclosures, schools, offices, and industrial partitions where a mineral-wool layer is needed to control reflected sound or sound transfer through an assembly.

Core Thickness
Available thicknesses: 50, 75, 100, 120, 150, and 200 mm.
Panel Geometry
Effective width can be 950 mm or 1150 mm. Made-to-order lengths can reach 12,000 mm.
Steel Facing
Steel sheet thickness can be selected from 0.2 to 1.0 mm, with 0.5 mm and 0.6 mm as common selections. Color and panel type can follow the approved project schedule.
Quality Control
- Rock-wool core material and steel facings are checked on receipt for material identity, core uniformity, sheet thickness, and visible damage. Panel dimensions and construction are controlled in accordance with GB/T 23932. Production records, inspection checkpoints, and corrective actions are managed in accordance with ISO 9001.
- During production, inspectors check core distribution, bond continuity, facing alignment, edge formation, and panel flatness. They also look for voids or compressed areas in the mineral-fiber layer, since either can make acoustic performance less consistent across the panel.
- Final checks cover panel dimensions, surface condition, bond integrity, and core-density consistency. Samples can be tested for sound absorption or transmission behavior when the project specification calls for it. A 100% visual inspection is completed before packing, and third-party inspection is accepted when specified.

A: No. Trim it to fit the cavity without heavy compression so the mineral-fiber structure remains open and the board keeps its designed thickness.

A: Yes. Seal panel perimeters and service penetrations because open gaps create direct sound-leakage paths around the acoustic layer.
