Product Overview
Machine Made Rockwool Panel is a continuously produced metal-faced sandwich panel with a rockwool core for repeated wall, roof and partition modules. It is used in industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, prefabricated buildings and other enclosure systems built around regular supporting frames.
Key Advantages
130 kg/m³ Uniform Rockwool Core
The panel uses a 130 kg/m³ rockwool core bonded between metal sheets under controlled pressure. Across long wall or roof runs, uniform core density reduces soft areas and local voids that can make one panel feel different from the next. The result is more consistent behavior around fastener lines, joints and repeated substructure supports.
60 kPa Compressive Strength
The core is listed with 60 kPa compressive strength. During stacking, clamping and installation at support lines, that resistance limits short-term indentation of the insulation layer. Keeping the core from compressing too far at contact points also helps the metal facings stay aligned and reduces visible denting from local pressure.
Tongue-and-Groove Joint with ±2 mm Length Tolerance
The panel combines a tongue-and-groove joint with a listed length tolerance of ±2 mm. On repeated façade, partition or roof bays, the interlocking edge and controlled length keep adjacent panels aligned at the seam. This limits cumulative joint drift over long runs and simplifies the fit of flashings, corner trims and end details against the supporting structure.

Production Width
Panel width can be specified within the current 1000–1200 mm production range for wall grids, roof modules and transport planning.
Metal Facing
Common facing options include 0.4–0.8 mm pre-painted or galvanized steel. Coating color and finish can be selected from the approved architectural or corrosion-protection schedule.
Panel Length & Fabrication
Approved shop drawings can define cut length, wall or roof profile, end trimming, openings and accessory interfaces. Fabrication can then be set around structural bay spacing, penetrations and the installation sequence.
Quality Control
- Production checks are arranged according to EN 14509. Metal coils, rockwool core material and bonding inputs are inspected before continuous lamination, and line pressure, profiling setup and cutting settings are recorded for each production run.
- Quality checkpoints are arranged according to ISO 9001 for material receipt, lamination, profiling, cutting, inspection and packing. Lot records link the finished panels to the steel coil, rockwool batch and production date.
- Finished-panel testing covers face-to-core bonding, flatness, squareness and coating or surface defects. The pre-packing inspection covers 100% of the production lot, with independent third-party inspection available before shipment.
FAQ
Q: How long does custom sample development take?
A: Custom sample development typically takes 3–15 days.
Q: What is the MOQ for Machine Made Rockwool Panel?
A: The MOQ is 200 m².
Q: Can minor coating scratches be repaired on site?
A: Yes. Use a compatible touch-up coating and treat any exposed metal promptly.
Q: How are the panels normally fastened?
A: Use project-specified self-drilling fasteners with sealing washers matched to the supporting structure.
