Product Overview
Fire Resistant Prefab Homes are steel modular buildings fitted with a mineral-wool wall system for industrial and remote sites with higher fire-risk conditions. Typical locations include chemical plants, oil-storage support areas, substations, forest camps, and industrial service buildings where people work or stay near higher-risk operations.
Core Advantages
Rock-Wool Core for Non-Combustible Wall Construction
The wall core uses rock wool at 50–80 kg/m³ and is specified as Class A non-combustible material in the current configuration. If the wall is exposed to heat from an external ignition source or nearby equipment fire, the mineral-wool core does not add combustible insulation to the wall assembly and slows fire spread through the core layer.
50–200 mm Wall Thickness Range
Wall thickness can be specified at 50, 75, 100, 150, or 200 mm. Stated thermal conductivity is 0.023–0.045 W/(m·K). For projects with larger temperature differences, exposed locations, or longer occupied periods, a thicker insulated wall increases envelope thermal resistance and gives the designer more options when setting the thermal and fire-separation build-up.
Protected Q235B/Q355B Steel Frame
The main frame uses Q235B or Q355B hot-dip galvanized steel with 2.0 mm, 2.3 mm, or 2.5 mm profiles and a baked-paint surface. On substations, forest camps, and industrial yards where the structure remains outdoors for long periods, the protected steel surface reduces moisture-driven corrosion. The primary frame remains non-combustible.

Customization
Building Dimensions
External length and width can be specified from the project drawing, with length from 3 to 12 m and width from 3 to 8 m. Final height and module arrangement follow the approved project layout.
Fire-Zone Layout
Room zoning, escape-door positions, door and window openings, equipment separation, and wall-line coordination can be set according to the project fire strategy and architectural drawing.
Service Penetrations & Finishes
The approved schedule can define cable and pipe penetrations, reserved equipment openings, exterior color, internal lining, and the position of project-specified fire-rated doors or accessories.
Quality Control
- Steel-frame fabrication, connection work, and execution checks are carried out according to EN 1090-2. Before production, steel members, rock-wool core material, panel thickness, and facing sheet condition are checked against the approved fire-resistance and material schedule.
- Inspection records, non-conformance control, corrective actions, and final release are managed according to an ISO 9001 quality-management system. During assembly, inspectors check frame geometry, panel thickness, joint fit, penetration locations, coating coverage, and closure around service openings. Gaps are corrected before the interior finishes are completed.
- Final checks before packing cover dimensions, door and window operation, wall joints, and closure around service penetrations. If the project specifies third-party fire-rated components, their supplied identification and documentation are matched to the approved component schedule before release.
